Turn your Toilet Bowl into a Super
Bowl
Learn How to Toilet Train in 7 days with success.
”It’s game day every day when you are a mom trying
to potty train your child. Moms have told me some real horror
stories since I became a toilet training advocate. When your
child finally wants to go on the potty every day it is like
winning the Super Bowl,” says Tammie Aaron-Barrada,
creator of PottieStickers. Many mothers have labeled potty
training as dreadful, time consuming and frustrating. No one
said that raising children is an easy task and in today’s
busy multitasking society the challenges are greater, the
pace is faster and potty training is even more difficult.
Starting potty training at a young age and being consistent
has been the most steadfast and reliable strategy for generations
and generations. Unfortunately, in today’s society,
with very few stay at home mothers and the added responsibilities
associated with a professional career or home business, parents
are finding it harder and harder to potty train their young
ones. However, there is hope for frustrated potty trainers.
Find a game plan and stick with it. That is what Tammie Aaron-Barrada
did. She could not find a potty training system for her son
so she created one. Instead of candy or toys, Aaron-Barrada
rewarded her sons' achievements with colorful, theme-based
stickers she made herself: One for sitting on the toilet,
two for going pee, and three for a poopy. When he finished
his pottie experience he chose stickers and mounted them on
a fold-up picture that matched the stickers.
It was portable, creative and consistent, their mom said.
And best of all, it worked. She knew this was a winner. The
day-care center agreed to test the products. When they reported
seven successes with seven toddlers, Tammie was estatic. “Since
I first invented them in 2000 I have never had anyone say
they have not worked for them and I am knocking on wood they
never do” says Aaron-Barrada. Cathy Trout’s Day
Care Center in Ruffs Dale is using PottieStickers, where one
little girl says “I only pee for PottieStickers”
with her serious little smile, Trout said.
"There's no wrong way to stick on a sticker," Aaron-Barrada
said. "The stickers are big and thick, easy for little
fingers to handle. They're not baby-fied. Toddlers love detail
and color so I made them full of color and loaded with extra
things for them to do. Ellie the elephant is hiding and they
need to find her in every picture. Working with these, they
feel they're accomplishing something worthwhile. It builds
self-esteem. And it gets them to use the potty."
Once the kids are out of diapers, parents save $100.00 a month.
Now that’s better than winning the Super Bowl –
that’s money in the bank. Take the time and be consistent
in potty training, it is money in the bank. With today's family-on-the-go-lifestyle
it has become harder to be consistent with children traveling
more. Statistics prove that late toilet training is harder
on children. Not long ago, the average child being toilet
trained was between 15 and 20 months old. Now we wait until
they between 36 and 42 months before we even start trying.
Today children have more bladder and urinary tract infections,
more constipation, and stretched and pocketed bowels that
are causing heath issues in children.
The cost alone in diapers, wipes, creams and diaper rash
ointments, diaper holders, diaper gene, diaper gene disposable
bags, diaper bags, changing pads, changing tables, diaper
liners, wipe warmers, swim diapers, designer diaper panties,
baby sprays and washes, and laundry soap is well worth it,
not to mention the land fills. If you want to get rid of diaper
rash simply get rid of the diaper.
With all the name brands, sizes, weights, and styles on all
the varieties to choose from, there are usually about 144
diapers in a case, costing about $50 dollars each. That means
you have to buy at least two cases a month, that’s a
$100.00 a month, Let’s not forget all the wipes and
creams, vs the 12.99 for a three pack of PottieStickers, portable
toilet training reward system that kids love. It should be
a no brainer. www.PottieStickers.com, because we all need
a few extra dollars in our pockets these days.
Only months after loosing their third baby her husband lost
his battle with cancer leaving Aaron-Barrada with two toddlers
to raise. "I don't remember 2002 except realizing we
had no life insurance and I had to figure out a way to pay
the bills. So I am manufacturing PottieStickers to share with
other moms and child care givers and tithing 10% of all sales
to cancer research to raise my kids," she says now.
PottieStickers are available online at www.PottieStickers.com,
and are popping up at day-care centers and retail baby-supply
stores in the United States, Canada and the UK.
